CAMPAIGN UPDATE
The campaign for the fair distribution of flying at RAF Linton on Ouse has reached a major milestone.
On March 15th 2005, Hambleton Council Cabinet met to decide on flying Circuits at RAF Linton. At the meeting Councillors saw evidence of the huge public feeling on this matter - including from over 500 residents who signed the SAFA petition.
Having agreed their “recommendations”, the Council has now put the matter back in the hands of the RAF - the very people who should have been allowed to make the decisions in the first place!
Local residents have every confidence that the RAF will apply common sense and revert to the original flying circuits - the only solution that will avoid overflying ALL residential areas.
